Concrete Batch Plant Operator
 
Objective: To assure that concrete design mixes are prepared in accordance with standard test methods so that the test results reflect the actual characteristics of the batched concrete.
Course Content:

CTT’s Concrete Batch Plant Operator review course will begin being offered in February 2007. The purpose of the course is to prepare concrete batch plant operators for the CTQP-CBPO exam. The course will include a classroom exercise consisting of a slide presentation of FDOT specifications and the Concrete Production Facilities Guidelines. Following the presentation, we focus on performing the calculations required for batching concrete for an FDOT-approved concrete plant.
Class Duration: Two days, including one day of instruction and one day for the written examination.
Written Exam: Required. Multiple-choice.
Proficiency Exam: None Required.
